#Gabon: Energy: The Moroccan expertise offered to Gabon

A strong delegation of business men and women will be Moroccan in Libreville in a few days as part of "Operation Action light."

From 21 to 26 September, a delegation of Moroccan businessmen active in the fields of electricity, electronics and renewable energy, will conduct a promotional tour in Ouagadougou, Libreville and Brazzaville. This initiative is part of "Operation Action Light," which aims to encourage the development of partnerships in the above sectors. Specifically, the "light action" operation will showcase the Moroccan expertise to companies of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. To this end, meetings in B to B and lectures are planned. "Morocco is ready technically, politically and economically for this strategic partnership in the framework of South-South cooperation," said the Moroccan Minister of Energy, Abdel Kader Amara.

Some 80 Moroccan companies should be involved in this operation conducted with countries with significant investment opportunities for Moroccan companies. Already, we learn that a dozen African journalists representing news organizations from Burkina Faso, Gabon and Congo recently visited the headquarters of the electrical branch of the National Office of Electricity and Water drinking (Onee) in Casablanca, to soak up the Moroccan experience.
