The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the development program for the post-2015

A national policy that is consistent with the international agenda

A little more than a year the deadline for achieving the MDGs, the heads of state are expected to adopt the ambitious post-2015 which aims to improve people's lives and protect the planet for generations future.

The program, in line with the policy of the head of state in favor of the Gabonese population, will address many issues: ending poverty and hunger, improving health and education, build more cities durable, combat climate change and protect the oceans and forests.

Promulgation of the law on sustainable development for the well-being of present and future generations, human capital strategy, extending the premium performance incentives to over 30,000 officials held the first Social Forum on the Gabon followed high-impact measures in the areas of social, education and health for low-income or vulnerable Gabonese, the Gabonese head of state has already committed to provide practical solutions to the needs of our youth, the plight of destitute families, the hope of those women and men who want to undertake.

Before appearing at the podium of the United Nations Thursday, September 25 during the general debate, the President of the Republic will participate in the New York Forum at the Summit on Climate Change, in a debate on the climate, health and employment he will co-chair with Finland, at the Clinton Global initiative "for the protection of elephants", and various high-level meetings.

During this week UN, the number one will be the voice of Gabon Gabon whose ambition is to ensure the well-being of people supporting social and economic development, conservation and protection of the environment.
