#Gabon: Kinguélé done soon?

An evaluation operation of the built environment affected by infrastructure projects populations has been launched in the area.

Improving the living conditions of populations and Kinguélé Valley watershed Ogombié seem concerned public authority. According to a statement from the Ministry of Investment Promotion, a public consultation was organized for this purpose, on 18 September, school Kinguélé by the NGO AJKA, chaired by the Coordinating Unit of study and work (UCTE). An operation which mobilized all district chiefs in the area, community leaders and young people.

In the process, he also discussed the launch of the operation evaluation of quality of life of people affected by this project. Thus enumerators were deployed on the ground. "These actions are part of the proposed release of the hold for the construction of two roads with a 2 x 2-way to enable, from the crossroads Cosmopark, direct access to the expressway," said a statement government.

Beautiful initiatives, however, raise a number of concerns. First, because public consultation is launched while studies have already been conducted. Then, because no resettlement plan seems planned. Now, logic would have wanted the public consultation before the study. Suffice to say that people have enough food ... concerns.
