#Gabon:Gabon-Tunisia: Six new agreements

  The visit of the President of the Republic in Tunis resulted in new partnerships to strengthen bilateral  cooperation.



 

Cooperation between Gabon and Tunisia is rosy. Taking advantage of the visit of President of the Republic in Tunis, 6 new partnership agreements were signed on 5 September. In the presence of his Tunisian counterpart, Moncef Marzouki, Ali Bongo took the opportunity to magnify the South / South cooperation, inviting Africans to look after their continent and help each other instead of having consistent use of European countries.

Commitments signed a protocol concerning cooperation on the recruitment of teachers for teaching cooperating in Gabon; a cooperation agreement in the field of employment and training of staff; a cooperation agreement in the field of health transfer; an agreement in the field of cooperation and mutual administrative assistance for the prevention and fight against customs offenses; a cooperation agreement in the field of vocational training and employment and a cooperation agreement between the Tunisian Post and the Gabonese post.

"The partnership in the area of ​​health concerns the conditions for Gabon to come and receive care in Tunisia," said the Tunisian Minister of Health Mohamed Salah Ben Ammar. Last June, the President Moncef Marzouki who paid an official visit to Gabon, where he took part in Tunisian-Gabon Economic Forum in Libreville. This trip had resulted in the signing of a dozen cooperation agreements including in the diplomatic, agricultural, health, educational and tourist areas.
