#Gabon:The work of the Marina Libreville resume in September!

 


The Department of investment promotion, infrastructure, housing and land use planning and public works agency (ANGT) confirmed in a joint press release, the resumption of field Triumphal who had known a significant slowdown that looks abandoned.

Indeed, the Chinese company China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) carrying out the work, was terminated due to non-payment by the Gabonese side. Both sides now seem to have found a way out for the continuity of the project.

According to the release:

The proposed renovation and modernization of the port-mole Libreville Triumphal Fields, also known as "Marina" was officially recorded in June 2013 at the foundation of the New York Forum for Africa in Libreville. This futuristic project of 43 acres, valued at 59 billion CFA should have been done in 450 days.

According to the Gabonese government, it would be the latest social foundations and social consultations of the Head of State that would have led to a reorganization of the budget priorities of the state to "political Distributing to the needs of low-income populations."

The statement said the delivery of the first phase by mid-2015. This is to dredging, embankments, design and construction of marine structures and ground facilities. The second phase will involve the construction of a commercial and cultural area with a museum. The project was designed as part of the modernization of private Gabonese capital of leisure centers.
